COMPANY: About

Small Business Group, Inc. was initially established in Greenwood, SC as an LLC in 2000 as a consulting company to assist qualified women and minority firms subcontracts with prime government contractors.  In June 2004, Small Business Group (SBG) restructured and diversified from a consulting company into a construction and environmental services company.  SBG was accepted into the Small Business Administrations' Small Disadvantaged 8(a) Business Development Program in February 2005.  The overall strategy has been to pursue a teaming approach with other qualified contractors, supplies and vendors.  This has proven very successful and has helped us establish a firm client base for providing services.

SBG established a strong teaming relationship with Environmental Enterprise Group, Inc (EEG) in 2004.  EEG was established from a small group of privatized Charleston Naval Shipyard Employees that were displaced by BRAC in April 1996 that eventually incorporated in May 2000. Teaming and collaboration with EEG on various projects throughout the southeast led to SBG acquiring EEG in February 2009 and is doing business as SBG-EEG.
SBG-EEG’s approach to business is based on providing customer service and taking a “can-do” attitude towards every project that we undertake.
