RELATED PROJECTS:
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES:
Surveying & Sampling
Asbestos: SBG-EEG’s in-house staff of licensed Asbestos Inspectors’, Project Designers and Management Planners provides asbestos surveys, Operation & Maintenance Plans, and project designs for any size abatement project.
Lead-Based Paint: SBG-EEG’s certified/licensed inspectors and risk assessors perform inspections using either X-Ray Fluorescent (XRF) Analyzers, wipe sampling or soil sampling. The inspection results are used for project specific EPA, OSHA or HUD requirements. Risk Assessments performed per HUD guidelines for child occupied or target housing include detailed sampling results and the expected hazard potential to children.
Groundwater & Soil Sampling: SBG-EEG’s trained technicians collect samples using EPA approved protocols, maintain proper chain-of-custody, deliver samples to NIST/NAVLAP certified laboratories for analysis, and provide written reports detailing the sample locations and findings. Sampling events include informational, post remediation and tank closure evolutions.
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3) and Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure Plans (SPCCP): SBG-EEG’s technical staff assesses site layout, stored site materials, and potential pathways to the environment. These attributes are collected, mapped utilizing geospatial positioning system (GPS) coordinates and provided in a comprehensive report that outlines the description of the facilities, impacts to receiving water bodies, best management practices (BMP) used to minimize pollution in runoff, practices to prevent spills, and corrective actions in the case of a spill.
