SBG-EEG provides labor and material for identification, segregation, characterization, storage, labeling and packaging of all hazardous and non-hazardous waste from the USCG facility at NESU Charleston.  The waste is received from the USCG ships (Dallas, Gallatan, and others) pier side, segregated, profiled, packaged, and scheduled for pick-up by the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO).  Waste reduction is accomplished through recycling and segregation of some of the received items.  All characterization profile sheets and waste manifests are controlled on an electronic database.
